Principles Informing Best Practice
The Centre’s principles that inform best practice with strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing are culturally based, community driven and recognise the need for self-determination. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Evaluation Project (ATSISPEP) research found that successful programs and services were underpinned by the principles which are key indicators of program and service quality.
The Centre will:
- Provide a comprehensive review of programs or services that have been evaluated formally or informally
- If your program or service has not been evaluated, we can provide a list of evaluators to assist with this process. Please note, there would be fees involved for services provided by an evaluator.
Reviewers will complete a confidentiality agreement and conflict of interest declaration.
